His first, and for sure not his last ...

Meanwhile, a new record in Hungary: yesterday, a total of 4330 border violators were intercepted by police. The majority claimed to be Syrian, Afghan or Pakistani citizens.
Today, between midnight and 8 a.m., a total of 1604 illegals were intercepted.

This year, a total of 186'050 invaders have been intercepted so far, with a total of 168'622 asylum requests filed. Hungary expects a total number of about 400'000 border violators for 2015.

A total of 1088 human traffickers have been brought charges against this year so far (unfortunately, no information on how many of these are in liberty again ...)

Germany will introduce border controls at the border to Austria (source - it's not yet official, press conference at 5:30PM).

16,000 immigrants arrived in Munich this weekend (Saturday morning to Sunday noon), 63,000 in the last two weeks. The mayor complaint that it's too much and most if the immigrants cannot be transfered to other cities and states (except NRW, Düsseldorf) because they also don't have accommodations for them.

The media keeps talking about September 15th in Hungary as being the date for improved border controls, but what is actually going to happen then?

Eastern Europe’s Crisis of Shame
Germany is acting iresponsably and by doing this it is destroying the European project. Germany cannot ask other EU members to share its colosal blunder of inviting the refugees to Germany.

Where's that dude who was venting the EU law structure and the EU who was going to hold this time? !?!

Angie's blunder! Bavarian politicians of CSU party are absolutely not amused!

btw: I corrected the number of immigrants and a press conference about the border controls happens now. The railway service between Germany and Austria has already been stopped at 5PM.

Angie made a big fault! She said refugees are welcome in Germany but it was just her decision. She neither discussed it with her coalition partners (e.g. CSU party) nor with the states/cities which cannot handle the hugh amount of immigrants. They were not prepared and are overstrained now.

In addition, human smugglers use Angies invitation to recruit more people for moving to Europe. Of course, they can easily be manipulated by pics and videos showing people with "Refugees are welcome in Germany" banners. That's criminal: Angie is a co-perpetrator of human smuggling now!

There's a German saying: "Gut gemeint, aber nicht gut gemacht" -"well-intentioned but not well done".

The first what they do when entering Europe illegally is committing a crime, which rules out to ever gain refugee status in Europe. They should get in line at our official border checkpoints, show their documents, and wait in the camps until their requests have been processed. This is exactly what morons like the writer below will never understand.

I amazed to see that only now is there criticism within Germany against Merkel's decision.

It had to come THIS far.

I guess she's preparing for a press conference Tuesday where she'll condemn Hungary's fence and border control.

She must live in a different world.

The member states cannot agree on the distribution of 160000. And Frau Merkel has invited the entire Third World to come to Europe so German industry can slash minimum wages even further.

I've always been a keen EU supporter. But if the politics of our entire continent will be decided by one person then I'm out.

Exactly. An extremely biased, hate-filled nonsense, spewed by a Yank sitting at 10'000 kms from Europe, that probably has never visited any of the sites currently overrun by border violators, that has never witnessed how the hordes of illegals behave in the transit (and destination) countries, and that has no clue altogether of the whole situation.

No word in the entire article about those poor "refugees" throwing stones at police and civilian aid workers. Of those poor poor "refugees" who are breaking through police cordons, who spill water handed to them by police officers to show their despise at them, who refuse to register and co-operate, who block roads and intimidate the regular population, who openly disregard the law and public order, who show a general disrespect toward those assisting them from taxpayer money (and no, not all migrants behave like this, but a large share does, and this fact is consistently omitted in the biased, illegals-abetting Western media).

Clueless, outrageous idiots of the kind of this author are a shame for the prestigious Princeton University.

Merkel made a solo run when she recently 'observed' that 800,000 migrants would hit Germany in 2015. Every people smuggler in Turkey Libya and Europe simply accepted this number as a sales target for the rest of the year. The CSU in Bavaria are livid with her.

It is a mistake about as great as the solo run her mentor Kohl made when he announced that one Ostmark = one Deutchsmark in 1990.

While both meant well they never really considered the consequences. In Kohls case he crashed the entire DDR economy virtually overnight as they were simply not competitive at that exchange rate.

What is it about long lasting German Chancellors and their grand plans eh????

Refugee crisis: Germany reinstates controls at Austrian border

Germany introduced border controls on Sunday, and dramatically halted all train traffic with Austria, after the country’s regions said they could no longer cope with the overwhelming number of refugees entering the country.

Interior minister, Thomas de Maizière, announced the measures after German officials said record numbers of refugees, most of them from Syria, had stretched the system to breaking point. “This step has become necessary,” he told a press conference in Berlin, adding it would cause disruption.

All trains between Austria and Bavaria, the principal conduit through which 450,000 refugees have arrived in Germany this year, ceased at 5pm Berlin time.

The decision means that Germany has effectively exited temporarily from the Schengen system. It is likely to lead to chaotic scenes on the Austrian-German border, as tens of thousands of refugees try to enter Germany by any means possible and set up camp next to it.
http://www.theguardian.com/world/201...gency-measures

The endless flood of migrants led to the disruption of the Schengen Area sooner than everyone could have imagined. If we want Europe as we know now to continue to exist migrants should be stopped at the EU external borders and forced to stay out. We should help them in the Middle East or in Africa and not in Europe and definitely not at the expense of our freedom and security.

how? land war against Daesh at Dabiq?

The apocalyptic projections of the Daesh fighting "the Romans at Dabiq" as per their interpretation of Islamic eschatology might even work, dumbass jihadis stand no chance in a conventional warfare against competent Western militaries...

Lastly, I saw a reportage on Swiss tv of Kurdish women fighting Islamists.
Which is a good thing, because if a fundamentalist get killed by a female, he goes immediatly to hell instead of getting his virgins .
So, women get back to fight and men get the hell out of there !

Here is the link to the broadcast (in French): http://www.rts.ch/emissions/temps-pr...-de-front.html

As for Merkel, it's now when reason come out of emotion.

Just found on the net - while the hate and lies campaign of how terribly the poor refugees are being treated in Hungary goes on:

"Attacks against refugee shelters:

in enlightened Germany: 340 in xenophobic Hungary: 0

So now which of the countries is 'more European'?"

There ARE no refugee shelters in Hungary except the underpass at Budapest Station and a shed down near Serbia where food is thrown at people.
