Alanya

Alanya(Turkey) lies at one end of a rocky promontory which juts out into the Mediterranean between two long sandy beaches. Today, Alanya is a beautiful holiday center of modern hotels, numerous stores, jewelleries, fish restaurants, cafes and bars. The city has about 100.000 inhabitants in winter and more than quarter a million in summer - most of them are German, Dutch and Scandinavian tourists).

For god sake, this is impossible. Your countryman attacked the French type of architecture and returning you are calling a complex.
What is so special? Castle is in ruins, from the castle walk are quite a few deserted houses and outside the touristic cenre in Alanya it is, sorry to say, sad story. Even the bus rides through the roads that reminds me a safari.

Wicky, nobody attacked on anything except you. You always do this for all Turkish threads and this shows your complex very well... Also nobody asks your opinion, but you feel this as permission and show your complexes... Continue man, these are something you will never have got

What are you talking about? Read the Bojnice castle thread first and then make assumptions. Canīt you even think?
You probably even do not know, what is critisism.

Once again:

You should show the streets outside the main centre and the roads coming to this place. is it that so difficult to undestand? Or do you need special English lessons?

I am not so intersting in your threads, this is why I didn't look. But I saw what Ozcan wrote, it is only one example that reaction after all you did. You do this for weeks. everytime, everywhere! All the time you show your complexes. First check your posts and control yourself...

Maybe you don't want to see anything, we show everything in Turkish forum! We don't hide anything like you did. I am not anyone who will learn what I will post or not. go your own way...

After "." you must use capital letters. It must be "Is it". Another word should be corrected is, critisism and it is written as criticism not critisism. I think you need English lectures more than everybody. You need some grammar class.

The gap in mentality differences is just too large. It is the island for the tourists, the similar island, which is in minds of some people, which wants to be a part of something they never really belonged to. Similar touristic towns are in various parts of Asia. There is only one thing: good camera and possibly pictures.

And I am also seriously afraid, this is not Euroscrapers Classical Architecture and Landscapes forum (it could be associated with Europe, or EU, or eurozone) any more.

The bunch of posts sick as mud down this thread is a worth of flimsiness.

Let's Wicky tell us his opinion! Last year 20.000.000 people visited Turkey.9.000.000 of them visited Antalya-Alanya region. 9.000.000 vs Wicky. We see how bad this place is.

Guys why are you even responding to this loser?

Don't you know that he is one of the few here who made their business to annoy Turkish forumers?

What a pathetic loser! I wonder if any of the mods are warning him not to initiate fights and spew hatred like he did in this thread.

Wicky, aren't you tired of telling people Turkey's not in Europe? It is oviously partially Europe even in the worst estimate, and that was enough for it to be in Euroscrapers. And since it's in Euroscrapers, posts about Turkey will also be in Euroscrapers. Stop wasting your energy and accept it.

Have you ever known that Alanya is not a Turkish city anymore? It's a German city like Kreuzberg in Berlin... In last few years 50.000 Germans emmirated to Alanya. at the beginning everybody thought they came here for just vacation. But they stayed and got their jobs. Finially they built their school for German children and German churches. It's interesting that every year this number increased...

It just show how Germans love Alanya and accept there as home

Alanya -- home of the biggest German colony in Turkey

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/turkc-l/message/83

Make the Germans mad and choose Alanya as your next travel destination

http://www.amerasianworld.com/alanya.php

Alanya is mostly a modern town, consructed in the last decade. There are also many Germans who chose the place as their new home after retirement.

http://www.twarp.com/guide/me-east.htm#al

the growing number of German-speaking Christians in the Antalya/Alanya area ... additional
agreement of 1984, which effectively gives Turks and Germans equal status.
