That would be fantastic. I know Yeouido is supposed to be Seoul's (and therefore South Korea's) financial district, and that usually brings with it at least somewhat extroverted design, so I've certainly got my hopes up. How great would it be to have a supertall next to Parc1?

The only thing that truly disappointed me about Yeouido--and many other parts of Seoul--is the width of the streets. I know I harp on this point almost whenever it could possibly be brought up, but considering the gradually-improving status of commieblock design in the city, it's becoming the major problem with Seoul's overall appearance.

Can you imagine just how much better it would feel if they'd shrink most of the major roads by a lane in each direction and put in bike lanes or tree-lined sidewalks in their place? "Transformative" is the word that pops into my mind.

I absolutely agree with you. Seoul's Wide Streets are so unneccessary. They could be using that spot for ways to beautify the city and make it more pedestrian friendly. I swear Seoul has wider streets than many Mega cities around the world.
