Guys...Mall of Arabia will not be the only one to be the largest mall in the world.
Guys, the Mall of Arabia at City of Arabia will not be the only mall in the world claiming to be the largest. There are two malls that the Triple 5 Group (the group responsible for the West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada and Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota) would build in China. They are the: Mall of China and Wenzhou Mall. Both will have 10 million square feet of retail space. That's equal to the Mall of Arabia.

The impact this mall will have on Dubai will be greater , becasue this city is small and its located in a small country
now china having the biggest this and that is sort of natural !!

Oh ok...
Oh yeah, that insight is probably true. China definitely needs really huge malls because of its gargantuan population. Question, though, does Dubai really think the 2.5 billion market it is trying to target as a huge potential tourism market (Africa, Europe, GCC, Greater Middle-East, and India) be enticed to go all the way there just to shop? I mean they could probably shop in their own glitzy malls, don't you think? Nevertheless, Mall of Arabia, is very unique (with all the replicated "Ancient Arabian Wonders" and all)!

Thats why Dubai has to build the biggest and best of everything , to give those people a reason to want to come visit

But still...
Dubai Boy, even if it the biggest and the best, come to think of it, India can build an even bigger and better mall than Dubai (let alone China). Specialty shops and special attractions could also be built in India, China or Europe. I pray that Dubai would slow down a bit on the infrastructure build-up since I believe that if Dubai continues to build like crazy then it would look hideous. No offense, but I kinda like it if Dubai remained a medium-sized city. After all, medium-sized or even small communities tend to have better livable standards than large ones.
