Yup, outside of NYC and Chicago, Atlanta has the tallest building in North America, at least for now.

If your interested, the over 100m club

London.........1 Canada Square 235m 1991
Manchester.....Beetham Hiltom Hotel 171m 2005
Birmingham.......Holloway Circus Tower 130m 2005
Leeds.........Bridgewater Place 110m 2006
Brighton......Sussex Heights 102m 1968
Liverpool......Unity 100m 2005

Impressive huh? Just shows how far the USA strove in the high rise stakes
But seriously, there are quite a few towers in the process at the moment for cities throughout the UK. Manchester for instance has 188m, 179m, 170m, 150m towers to go with the 171m u/c Beetham Hilton

you do realize chicago and new york probably each have like 40 towers over 200 m?

The guy listed only one per each city - to show which cities have the building.

Incidentally - i can't frigging believe tulsa has a 200m scraper and vancouver doesn't.

Right, the quantity in each city would be a different list. i almost went through and subtracted the height of any spires on the buildings which are on this list, but i didn't get that far.

more amazing is even with the Shangri-La, tulsa will still have 2 taller buildings.

We should post some photos, at least of the least known.

Like the one tulsa center. I never knew it existed, it doesn't look over 200 Meters thought.
