33 Gerrard Street West

This is the site of the Chelsea Hotel, the largest hotel in Canada. It looks like it'll be replaced by a mixed-use development:

Looks like some floors have missing windows.
I'm not sure of what became the concept of beauty for modern engeneering.

There are 3 towers proposed now instead of 4
and the heights of 2 of the three are now at 88 floors (twins)!
So the heights have INCREASED!
46 FL ---> 49 FL
50 FL ---> 88 FL
80 FL ---> 88 FL

This project has always been interesting since it was unveiled a year ago. I recall back in April 2016, city council was considering the project. The latest renderings appears that there is influence from 432 Park avenue. Nevertheless it is a step in the right direction.

Due to the potential density in the area it seems that the developer is still considering various options in the early phase. I would venture a guess, the project will still go through more revisions, and won't be surprised if there end up being only two towers.

There is a lot of concern of density in this area. It will be a challenge to get something of this magnitude approved by city council. If various developers have their way, this area could even become just as dense as the MINT core.

-33 Gerrard West Towers 1 and 2 at 935 feet and 88 stories
-Twin Towers at 2 Carleton recently proposed at 764 feet and 72 stories
-The Dark Horse at 385 Yonge which may be proposed as a supertall at over 100 stories
-8 Elm Street proposed at 850 feet and 80 Stories (most likely will be rejected by Council, but the developer will try their luck with the OMB)
-Aura at nearly 900feet and 78 stories.

I'll be glad to get rid of the ugly Delta.
