Took those yesterday.

The cladding of the atrium is making good progress.

2 photos of the neighbouring 'Grossmarkthalle' which will be part of the new ECB HQ.

Looks like the atrium will be relatively transparent, which is good. Great pics again!

to me the atrium appears the same glass as the rest of the facade, which isnt transparent at all.

but its obviously the same glass as the towers.

if you argue that the atrium is going to be transparent, you also need to say that the towers are transparent.

I think, it will look more transparent when the scaffolding is taken down.
And when the tower is complete and occupied, the difference will be more obvious. Certainly not as much as in the renderings, but still.
The rest will depend on light an weather conditions.

Imagine how great it will look when the sun goes down and shines through the atrium.

Is the mast on this building considered a spire or an antenna? Various sources (including the CTBUH) say the architectural height only goes to the roof (185 m).

Dominated by two asymmetrical towers that frame a 600-foot-tall atrium, the design radiates magnetic energy. The taut silhouettes of its two towers, bound together by the tense embrace of steel bridges and beams, should become an instantly recognizable element of the Frankfurt skyline - and help to revitalize the city's grim eastern suburbs.

That's the best graffiti I've ever seen!

I forgot about the atrium, I thought it would just be the two irregular buildings with nothing in between them. It will look better with this atrium.

it큦 a spire, but you큥e right, the architectural height is 185m...the spire will be a bit like the one of the bank of america building in nyc...

anyway...progress of construction seems to be very slow right now....

If it's a spire, the official architectural height should be 220m and not 185.
