Is it feasible to build a 90-storey tower in Cyberjaya?
With population of less than 100,000

That's their plan to build the city and grow the population.

This is within the Kuala Lumpur metro area. Kuala Lumpur currently has a construction boom and spreading out might be a good idea, it's a massive city after all.

True this is within Kuala Lumpur metro area, but it is certainly quite far, and unlike KL's other satellite cities, this one is separated by palm estates and has lower density too.
I don't know. Probably it's cheaper to build there. With govt having large stake there, they might be able to attract business.

i dont consider 25-30 minutes drive to be far. located in between klia and kl with 2 MRT stations and MEX 2 construction underway, i think it is justifiable
