That's weird I was just thinking how much it reminds me of NYC as well, more the WTC rebirth proposal/s.

From left to right...

The twins with the skybridge are the main towers of ASE Center. 428m, 293m, 193m, 201m, 234m. Heights might be taller as we don't think they include the crowns.
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=381429

Next is CQIFC, 431m, this thread.

The one with the large spire plus the shorter ones on the right are KPF Financial Street project. 350m (without spire) plus 6x180-250m. Still concept designs.
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=652472

The one in the background with the weird shape is Global Financial Building, 331m, 79 floors. But we didn't know the design in that render, which seems to be taller than 400m too.
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=496266

There are other supertalls planned for this tiny area: Poly Tower (290-300m), Hongyadong 2 (78~ fl, 350m+), Yuzhou Hotel (308m), Yingli Tower (320m) and Newport project (300m+).

A building that got way better with every redesign. This is going to look outstanding - that render with all the towers together blew my mind. I'm a huge fan of this one's shape which reminds be of a regal older-style building yet with a modern facade. When they get all of these buildings built Chongqing will definitely have one of the greatest skylines.

Google earth poster showing all main projects in the city center including Chongqing International Financial Center. The image doesn't include some supertalls too far away from the center like Jialing Fanying (443m), Dadukou Twin Towers (2x385m), etc.

They're not just building, they're terraforming half of the city!
