City have also plans for its metro network, but citing economic situation in the country, I believe, that it won't happened in foreseeable future. Metro map:

Crosspost from Buenos Aires Light Rail thread:

Exactly. Cordoba City buyed 5 'Optima' Trolleys and 2 'Megapolis' Trolleys (with the last 2 being far more good-looking trolleys than the Optima, if anything). They are already in service and there is plans to buy more new Megapolis (and in the near City of Rosario, they have more advanced plans to buy 20 of the Megapolis).

The trolleys were made in Russia, like the old ones that are in service in Cordoba since 1989 (40 cars of the 'ZIU' Brand, wich was the name of Trolza back in Soviet times). Some of the old ones (about 16 of them) where refurbished and i personally like how they became.

An old ZIU trolley refurbished last year in Cordoba:

The 10 dual-car ZIU trolleys were refurbished some time before (around 2008), and are like this:

Additionally, 1 new belarrussian trolleywas introduced in 2010:

And, finally the best ones, the Trolza Megapolis added recently:

Forget about HRT or LRT networks on other cities than Buenos Aires and Mendoza... Perhaps Rosario will have some diesel operated suburban rail services in the near future but the new government will invest only on Buenos Aires suburban lines and the freight corridors on the rest of the country. The solution for every other big city will be BRT corridors called here Metrobus...

Oh no, this is a great mistake of Argentine government. They are still lobbying petrol and diesel vehicles and motor vehicles, and neglecting the concept of Eco-friendly metro and tram systems.
