$150-m AeroPark set to rise in Clark zone
November 12, 2015 at 11:35 pm by Rendy Isip

Global Gateway Development Corp., a company backed by Kuwaiti investors, plans to generate at least 300,000 jobs over the next 10 years in Clark Freeport Zone, as it started the construction of AeroPark Campus as a part of the 177-hectare Global Gateway Logistics City.

GGDC chief executive Mark Williams said GGLC would consist of a town center, business park, logistics park and the AeroPark Campus. Quadrant 1, the first phase of AeroPark Campus, will involve the construction of office buildings with a combined floor area of 142,000 square meters, as well as retail establishments worth a total of $150 million. GGDC is the local operating unit of KGL Investment Company of Kuwait.

It's a shame nobody goes there to take photo updates of this research facility. According to a Clark resident, as of today, two towers have already topped off. Anyway, here are screenshots from Google Earth dated February 11, 2016 and March 19, 2016:

CLARK FREEPORT, Philippines – Two office buildings including 11- and 12-storey structures erected within the 45,000-square meter AeroPark Campus project of the Global Gateway Development Corporation will soon be completed, key officials said Tuesday. GGDC Chief Executive Officer Mark Williams said a separate 9,000-sq.m space within the park will be made available for retail business once the project is completed.

“With the addition of new high-quality office space located in a well-designed, master-planned precinct within the Clark Freeport Zone and directly adjacent to the Clark International Airport, we foresee the Clark Freeport Zone emerging as a new office and logistics hub for the Philippines,” Williams said in a statement.

Williams, who led other GGDC officials and guests during the topping-off rites held at the One West and Two West buildings, said the projects are part of the planned Clark Aerotropolis.
