Looks like Cowtown has an official new tallest. Brookfield looks taller than the Bow.

I'm so glad. I personally hated the Bow being the tallest. Now when you look at the skyline it will look more balanced and your eye won't immediately go to that monstrosity.

My top 5:

1. Toronto
2. Vancouver
3. Calgary
4. Montreal
5. Edmonton

Those 2 big office towers on Front West will help build out that shot. Hopefully they both get the all clear soon. Would that last big City Place condo (248m: 23 Spadina Avenue) be visible in this frame? On another note, Jurassic Park is about to get filled again with the NBA playoffs about to start. Go Raptors!

I really like that red neon Royal York sign in that last picture. It has character.

The Royal York is one of the old Canadian Pacific railway hotels scattered across the country. When Canadian Pacific Hotels bought Fairmont and changed the name of the enlarged group to Fairmont they were planning to replace the 'Royal York' sign with just 'Fairmont'.

There was a huge uproar in Toronto so they put up a 'Fairmont Royal York' sign instead. Here's what the old sign used to look like:
