I love that Toronto banner, i thought it was Tokyo or Seoul after noticing the name!

^ malt, most of the developed world are christians, which are the people that do access this website, i with confidense can say the majority people on this site are christians. Besides, all religions respect the pope, plus why dont you tell the australian newspapers and television to stop with the huge coverage of the pope stories and whole newspapers cover's about him ..

Good on you Jan, very good header image, yes you should keep it through till Friday, which is when his funeral is meant to be held.

Im not Catholic, Im an atheist. I just think it would be respectful.
In any case... how on earth is just having the banner staying for a few extra days going to 'force' people to mourn for him?

i think a banner is not invasive to no one.. you're not forsed to mourn for the pope! i think keeping the banner till friday might be a kind of sign of respect for that great person that has been the pope in his life, that isn't a christian prerogative!
