Hill International Selected as Project Manager for Tallest Skyscraper in Qatar

Doha, Qatar -- Hill International, Inc., the worldwide construction consulting firm, has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary company, Hill International (Middle East) Ltd., has been awarded a contract from Dubai International Properties to provide project management services during the design and construction of the 80-storey Dubai Tower in Doha, Qatar. The state-of-the-art, multi-use skyscraper will, upon completion, be the tallest building in Qatar.

The Dubai Tower reaches 445 meters to the top of the mast and is situated overlooking West Bay Doha. The development, which contains world-class retail outlets, offices, a hotel, serviced apartments, residential units and underground parking, is envisaged to be the premier address in Doha. Construction of the project is expected to be completed by April 2007.

"We are very excited about managing the construction of such a landmark structure," said Raouf S. Ghali, President of Hill's International Project Management Group. "This unique building will help change the skyline of the city of Doha, and Hill is very honored to have been selected as its project manager," Ghali added.

Hill International, with over 550 employees in 21 offices worldwide, provides program management, project management, construction management and construction claims services. Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the 14th largest construction management firm in the United States. For more information on Hill, please visit our website at www.hillintl.com.

I think it's butt-ugly actually and way too tall. If it was 300m it would be much better because even though it would still dominate it wouldn't feel as if it were taking over the whole skyline by itsself

No u/c pics yet, they are just breaking ground.

Males, i totally agree with you. But this pic shows the skyline as it is today. By the time this building will constructed there will be at least 4 or 50+ story towers sharing the same skyline.
