MISC | Steel Elevated / Subway Structure

The New York City Subway has probably the highest percentage of steel structure in its mostly four-track high capacity system. If you like steel-structured metropolitan transportation system, you have found the place to post photo and discuss here.

NOISY, NOISY, NOISY!! They may look cool and vintage in a way, but it can be deafening to be standing underneath a steal elevated subway structure with a train rumbling on top. I've experienced this many times in NYC as well as Chicago, with their extensive "El" running.

I also find steel subway viaducts cool and prefer the rumble of the trains than the annoying honking of car horns in a traffic jam!

All old underground stations of A subways (1913) in Buenos Aires are constructed with structural steel.
