The whole west coast, from San Diego to Seattle is in need of more runways and places to put them near the population centers, but with the Nimby'ers it can be very difficult.

I was so disappointed in San Diego... puny, short, uninspired.

But if you are stuck with a 500' ceiling then this is the way to go... half of those are great if executed as designed. Time for San Diego to step it up. Beautiful place but the city builders haven't...... built. Future looks bright.

From Harbor Island or Shelter Island downtown San Diego looks awesome!! I especially love watching the planes coming over the hill and flying by downtown on their way to the airport.

Odd, since most people agree that while SD's skyline is short it is quite original and different from any other skyline of the same size.

In any case, I found the other proposed redevelopments that lost to the Sasaki/Wellington Design.

San Diego is one of the nicest US cities and very well planned.

Great stuff. These buildings are going to help make quite a dense skyline.

Nice skyline, but they have to do something about the homeless. I don`t like walking in downtown because of it. Also the Spanish speaking people down there are rude.

Ohhh man Shelter Island......

What a place - I stayed in Humphrey's Half Moon Inn while i was there - absolutely stunning.

And what a view of the skyline! I was there for the July 4th Fireworks display....

Awesome.
