Yes, Monterrey's boom seems to be lasting. Let's see if any other city in the country enters to this "race" or if any other tallest is announced in Mexico City at least.

The red circle in the pic below indicates where the towers will be built and how they will place in the city skyline:

beautiful design, and tower. But the weird thing is that city skyline.I think high rise buildings could be in a small area,so it wouldn't hurt the vision.

yeah monterrey builds skyscrapers all over the city, not concentrated in one area, however they are being filled every year, in the future it would close as a giant cluster

but the biggest cluster (Valle Oriente) is being well filled with a supertall to start construction this year pic:

This is a long-time discussion on the Mexican forum... IMO, on the one hand, these spread highrises all over the city somehow avoid to concentrate traffic in a small area. This is important given the city's poor urban planning, also shown by other cities in the country.

On the other hand though, as a visual effect this doesn't look "orderly", at least not in the US sense. Perhaps, this also makes the city very distinctive, in addition to its beautiful landscape full of high mountains.

Regards

From March 12th, by Vicraya2.

It can be seen that neighboring red residential building is now empty, so probably its demolition will be soon, since the lot will be part of the project.
