I liked the original gold cladding too! Didnt they change it because it would've been too distracting?

There was never ever to be gold cladding.

The below original render from the previous page shows that it was to be green and it has the reflections of the city lights @ night on it.

...but Sunland the developers had to cut down the reflectivity of the glass and ended up obviously using a glass that wasn't as reflective.

guys. the mighty 97m long spire has started! the first 36m section was put up today!
it now reaches 261m high.

That's one impressive skyline! And nice tower too, but that 100 metre spire ... A hollow shell and a long stick, just to claim it's the tallest ?

even without spire its 275m high which is taller then any residential tower in the world atm.Eureka in melb is 297m but still core uc.
Atleast the spire isnt just stuck on the top. Its attached to front and only rises above the roof by half its length.

I have to ask though, on the last picture, what is that ugly-ass grey area in the middle of the building's facade?

I hope they change that. Otherwise, this building is a great once.
