OTTAWA - TD Place Stadium (24,000)




Opened in 1908 as Lansdowne Park
Renovated in 2014 as TD Place Stadium (renovated North Stand, New South Stand) - Also has 10,000 seat Arena under the North Stand

Here is one of the North Stand being rebuilt in 1967, which added the Civic Centre Arena (10,000) underneath



And then the 1967 Grey Cup game with the stands completed

Is the old west single tier grandstand the biggest in Canada? The one at Commonwealth Stadium would come closest.

Grey Cup 105

Here is the extra seats they have added to TD Place for the Grey Cup this year. Will bring the capacity to about 36,000

Grey Cup is now on. Calgary and Toronto are currently playing in very heavy snowfall...
