But, 1.3 KM is also very high

Maybe I didn't get it right. But, I'm actually trying to encourage the professional ones to paint it

You photoshopping already gives a nice impression.

Dubai Tower in the far distance, but still higher than ESB...
This tower will be absolutely amazing.

I think even Central Park is not big enough to build this monster!

And, the Middle East or China are more likely locations for such high building/structure.

So since everyone is comparing Dubai Creek Tower's dimensions to Manhattan, I went ahead and drew the outline of the Creek Towers plot around the World Trade Center in NYC in order to visualise the construction area's scale

It's impressive indeed to see it swallow up the whole WTC development when you keep in mind that only one single tower needs this amount of space Sorry for my quick drawing skills btw

Yes.
Progress seems slow at the moment.

On the last picture, we only see the heads of the barette piles.
No activities yet for te formwork of the towers' foundation.

Most skyscrapers are maintained by the renters who do daily and weekly upkeep of their properties. If that much space is left unoccupied, the building owner would need an army of cleaners and maintenance workers, and with only a few floors bringing them income, there is no way they could keep up the costs. The owner will lose hundreds of millions a year if the entire building is not occupied. I'm really confused by this.

Sure it will be expensive maintaining this tower, but look at other similar examples around the world. Check out this picture of the 634 meter Tokyo Skytree:

http://nihonniikimashou.com/wp-conte.../Skytree-5.jpg
It looks like less than 1/3 of the footprint of the tower is taken up by the core containing a stairwell and the elevator shafts, so there is a lot of space between that and the complex web of steel girders. It looks to me as if the Dubai Creek Tower might actually be easier to maintain since they can build floors between the cladding and the core for easy maintenance, while the Skytree only has girders connecting the trusses to the core. I'm sure that the Skytree was built to be profitable, so this tower will be as well. The only issue I see that would cost a lot of money is the cable maintenance, it will be very difficult to maintain or replace these cables, but Emaar most likely have thought about that as well.
