You should consider founding an architect's firm! With your apparent knowledge, it would definitely be a huge success!

As beautiful that render is, its not accurate. It shows the distance between the tower and downtown wayy to much.

Every time I see Burj Khalifa and this tower I always think of the two towers from the lord of the rings.

Think comparing them to the black tower of barad dur is much much more accurate.

I literally can't wait for construction to start on this project. I really hope, so much that this building is taller than the Kingdom Tower.

It will be taller. No need to hope for that.

I found an article on ''The Tower'' that gave out new details for the building, and one of those new details is that the building will only have 18-20 usable floors, the whole article is right in this link if you want to read the whole article:

This article is just as random as any other! It is just giving guesses BUT one info we got is the diameter at the base will be 500m (stem width at 30m) so if we wanna try to use that to calculate height we receive different results depending on renders we use and I found heights ranging from 1000m to 1300m.

So bottom line Emaar is just making sure none will figure the height before they officially release it once completed. One last note is that the new retail section will "dwarf the Dubai Mall".

The article said that the building will be around 830 meters high, but I'm gonna estimate that it would be 850-1050 meters (by the way, I hope this building becomes taller than the Jeddah Tower).

If that circle is really 500m, then the height is 1093m.

Not cool because it's functionally meaningless. I'd respect a 200-storey building with the same height much more.

It may also be exactly 3600 feet, which is 1097m.

Well, fortunately, your respect is the last thing the builders are looking for

It has even more than one function: it makes a breathtaking observation experience possible, it attracts (they hope so) a lot of people, it makes Dubai also more worldknown and perhaps it inhabits other facilities like a hotel, restaurant, bars or anything else.

And i think a 200 floors building is possible in the future too. Dubai won't stop breaking records
