Tokyo Tower of Babel seems pretty ugly to me as well as X-Seed. On the other hand I suppose all these renderings are pretty old... New visualization of X-Seed could be great...

That's really neat. The tower is actually less than an hour away from where I live and I'm hoping to visit the observation deck when it opens in fall this year. Its super exciting to see elevators like this happen as well as us possibly having a mile high tower in the not too distant future!

Alot of visionary megatall skyscrapers were planned for Tokyo but were never built.

The Millennium Tower is a perfect example which has the same height as Burj Khalifa.

For now, Tokyo's skyscrapers has not exceeded past 260 m! Only freestanding structures are taller.
