I love the Chrysler, and probably prefer the old classics to the newer scrapers.

Then that's probably why you don't like the BoC then - because you prefer old classics.

Now that I'm reposting on this thread after a long time - I have changed my opinion and have warmed to the Chrysler - so much that it's now my 3rd favourite skyscraper of all time.

Surprised no one's put up the IFC 2 for comparision.

Close-up they're freaking ugly and look like jagged teeth or claws - but from a certain distance they're marvellous.

Honestly I don't really dig 2-IFC's crown! I would prefer Central Plaza over the 2-IFC!

I still prefer the "hypodermic" over the "shaver"

Also, The Central Plaza's mast also doubles as a clock which is done by lighting effects.

Bank of America's style reminds me of 2 IFC. Even the crown has some similar elements in spikes. The setback motif is quite similar as well.

BoA Atlanta - At night it is awesome
BoA Charlotte - Also awesome at night but in the daytime it looks kind of unfinished.
Chrysler Building
Aegon Louisville - weird but cool.
I don't know if this is only for built buildings but Signature Tower Nashville is going to be awesome as well. If it looks like we expect, it will take #1 in my opinion.
