Phuket Light Rail is under Environment Impact Assessment (EIA), and they are revising the design to fit with the new terminal of Phuket International Airport.

OTP has set the date for construction of both Phuket Light Rail and Hat Yai monorail to begin construction in 2018 and open for service in 2021, while Khon Kaen light rail is expected to begin in 2017.
