Downtown Oakland has some really great architecture, but the skyline itself isn't as impressive as it should be. 6.5/10

I had a friend who used to live in downtown Oakland. He said he always heard gun shots everynight. Plus my friend got robbed there before. Unsafe place 3<

Oakland has a good skyline (and given a recent proposal will soon have some real height) for a city its size (400,000 or so) and it doesn't hurt that San Francisco is only a couple miles away
