Can Airport have heliports on the roof of the terminals?

Some airports have adjacent heliports which makes it possible for passangers to switch from their flights to a helicopter.
Nice Cote d'Azur Airport in France has this option which is greatly used, especially in the summer (in july/august the french riviera is the most helicopter dense place in the world).

One disadvantage in Nice is that the heliport is quite far from the terminal; in fact it is on the edge of the airport on the shore of the ocean.

I head an idea; is it possible for an airport to have the heliport on the roof of the terminal? That way the passanger can get of their plane, pick up their luggage and once they are out of customs they can go outside for a taxi/buss, down below for trains or up on the roof to take a helicopter.
Seems to me that it would be much better.

Does any airport have this option? Or are heliports always separated from the terminals?

Here is a satellite image of Nice Cote d'Azur Airport. The read is the road from the terminal to the helipad and the blue is the terminal (and where the helipad could be).

In my opinion, helipads are more useful on the office buildings roof

Heliports on top of airport terminals may not be the best idea out there, especially that the view from the air control tower may not be fully visible for safe operations of helicopters ascending and descending onto the terminal structures. I would be better off putting them at a close proximity to a terminal, but far away that air traffic control could see such movements from a distance.

Not to mention, the weight of a helicopter taking off and landing (not to mention the change in air direction that could result from a chopper's movements) could cause structural problems on the terminal's roofing, especially if those have curvilinear tops.

Good points I guess.
Still, would be pretty cool if you could pick up your bag, go through customs and take an elevator to the roof and take a helicopter.
