As some have mention it would make sense to make one section for U/C and proposed building together.

Totally agree that the limit should stand at 600m.

Why change whole nomenclature, only because of a new section?

So stop talking about it, let's do it!

Hypertall sounds better than Megatall IMHO.

Maybe 600M and + is a bit to high BUT we cleary need 2 part here, i ve been always depressed to see building hère from 300 till 600-700 and more

Maybe making Highrise + skyscrapers only one part ? Like 200m and less

Agree, that makes no sense. 150m than 300m than 600m, that's the logical continuation.

how did this discussion turn from adding a new section to combining the already overfilled skyscraper and highrise sections? the skyscraper section has twice as many threads as the supertall one, the only thing that would make sense would be splitting it into 200-249 and 250-299, but the threads have much less replies so i think it is good as it is and would be a logistical nightmare to restructure all of them. Besides the only question ever asked by the mods was whether we should open a new thread for 600m projects, not 500m, not 542m, not redefining the name megatall, not combining the even bigger sub-forums and not coining terms for even taller thresholds like 'hypertall' that would be decided by the ctbuh and not users. This thread got a little out of hand, while it stands clear that the original question was answered by an overwhelming yes.

There are arround 30 Threads for 600m+ projects at the moment. Not all will be build an some are more visionary than real but more of these projects will follow in the future.

so please Jan, just add the Megatall section .

I think we should allow visionary projects in there as well and have the thread accordingly titled Vision instead of Pro or U/C.

600m is perfect for a 2000ft and 900m next for a 3000ft.

I support the idea of 500+ metres section as megatalls.

Definitely, Megatall 600+ section for me, and sticky for those under construction.
