i love the open corners and fast sections of this track! it looks like it will be great, different from tilke's others. i am concered at the length though, this may end up as an 80 lap race!

Why are all these Third World countries hosting the F1, while we here in places like Toronto/Canada can only dream of such stuff?

Just kidding, of course. Turkey is not Third World.

Maybe because these "third world" countries and developing in such a fast pace that they seem much better then places like canada.

Im not so sure about the track, it would be nice if someone can post some of the final renderings for this project so we can compare.

Anyone who is willing to pay somewhere in the region of $50 million to host a race will probably be allowed to do so. It has nothing to do with how nice the country itself is.

This track, like other Tilke tracks is rubbish.

That's not the track, that's what you have to pay just for the right to hold an event.

The corner on the last pic, that would be an exciting one.

This track, like other Tilke tracks is rubbish.

I'd have to disagree with you, the Tilke tracks have provided some exciting races especially for overaking, and you've seen the last race in Bahrain and even the one before it, they're entertaining races. The tracks might be hard on brackin but it's part of the fun. I haven't seen the China one so I can't comment on that.

What's the capacity of this one, around 40,000 maybe? Keep up the good work Turkey, nearly there.
