Just noticed this thread. I watched the race and it is indeed a beautiful track. The announcers just couldn't help saying good things about it....especially turn 8. Most of the drivers love it as well, some complained that it's hard on the neck, but that's the only remotely negative thing that i've heard.

Congrats, Turkey :-)

This track is a great addition to the championship... I'm expecting even better show next year as the teams and pilots will be more familiar with it and more willing to take risks ;-)

TURKS:

British TV coverage of the GP was very complimentary about the new track. It was a big success with the media teams. Looked good from both the point of view of the race itself and various reports on the facilities and so on before the race. Job well done!

Fantastic track! A formula 1 race with over taking in it? What has the world come to? LMAO .

Seriously love this track, turn 8 has become legendary already and I'm sure we'll see many more crucial moments there in years to come.

The biggest problems seems to be the inferstructure for getting to the place ( huge traffic jam etc) But I think those problems can be addressed by next year.
Well done Turkey .

actually the roads are good
but most turkish drivers didn't pay attention to the traffic signs and the majorits to late (they thought that it will take only 15 min)

Well that's even better, it's just been caused by people not knowing what to expect, it shouldn't be a problem at all next year.
