A fast photoshop attempt to see how this tower most likely will affect the skyline! (I used 432 Park avenue since we still got no official render)

From Marina Walk:

From Palm Jumeirah:

I like how it expands the skyline from the Palm's point of view. I didn't bother do one from the sea since it won't as good blocking mostly Cayan tower from view.

BTW, the faulty software you mentioned allows for a basic perspective adjustment, in order to match the buildings on the picture. Note: closer to the left border of the frame buildings should significantly lean to the right (and vice versa), in order to match the perspective projection. Just pull the corners and edges holding Ctrl key, after you enter the "Free Transform" mode.

If you could edit the title to ask the mods, couldn't you edit the title to what it's supposed to be? I don't get it.

I agree, Cayan owners are going to be punished by its location, almost like Jeanne d'Arc.

I'm sorry today was a very long day for me and I was tired and angry bcz of it so when I read what you wrote I extremely overreacted. But basically yeah only specific mods of the supertall section can edit; I am just like any other member over here I can't change anything

it doesn't look so tall on the latest render. So this change might be recent

What the hell is the "cayan tower"? Whatever it is, it certainly is not "world famous". In fact, the only building in dubai that is anywhere near "world famous" is the burj dubai. Even that isnt nearly as famous as many other more established world skyscrapers. This promotion is objectively silly...

The Cayan Tower is the outermost twisting tower in the tallest block. Google would have answered that question too.

And i think besides the Burj Khalifa there is at least one tower that is more than world famous, and that is the Burj al Arab hotel. Other then that, i agree with you. There is not much else that is widly known there.

Maybe I'm a little late to answer this, but I just had to respond to this ridiculous statement.

First of all, great architecture doesn't always have to be famous. There are lots of buildings, for instance the Shanghai Tower, or on a smaller scale the Heydar Aliyev Center, which are a masterpiece of architecture. If you ask anyone on the streets about those two, I'm sure nobody would recognise the names.

As you probably are a proud American from Chicago, your statement ''as famous as many other established world skyscrapers" refers to well-known buildings like the Empire State Building or Willis Tower. Both of them had decades to establish a name around the world as the tallest towers on earth and it is really no wonder that the ESB, as a historical gem, tallest tower of the world and icon of NYC is more famous than the Burj Khalifa.

The Burj didn't even exist 15 years ago and when you take this into account, it is already pretty famous. Let's way a few more decades and watch its name growing.

So seriously, don't try to value architecture by how well-known it is. There are so many other variables that have an influence on a building's fame which have nothing to do with the quality of architecture.

And yes, I am triggered by such an ignorant comment.
