A thread for informations about styles, buildings and other things

Edit: I've changed the title because I think that a thread for helps and informations about architects, styles, buildings and other things could be useful.

For instance This may sound stupid, but... how it's called the Terracenhaus in english?
I have a fascination for this kind of buildings.

Just to clarify, as the way you phrased it is a little odd in English and might mean something else, you are referring to a thread that is essentially a dictionary of architectural styles and a listing of famous architects and what type of styles they designed in?

If so, yes I very much do. There seems to be a lot of disagreement about what exactly certain styles are. Then again I think that might turn out to be more a debate than a truly helpful tool.
