For one second I thought BlackStation came to this forum.

To your question: No. You might wanna consider Guangzhou and Shenzhen (next to Hong Kong) instead, since these two are mega cities in the neighboring area of Hong Kong.

beautiful photos.

From this pic, the low Shangri-LA building should be demolished, its style and color is not consistent with buildings around it, and it occupies such an outstanging spot...

i rekon its fine there, it looks luxury at night

i think there just shuold be more skyscrapers in general there and make it more dense, because right now, its fairly empty around the streets in lujiazhui

Hmm, I think it's cute and stands out in its own way, and tells a story about the earlier stages of Lujiazui's development. It'd be kind of boring if all buildings were perfeclty consistent with each other IMO. Let this precious little bit of 'chaos' remain I say.

Sigh @ Ping An Building, especially with the ugly big red logo, totally covering Bank of Shanghai...

Btw, is it cheaper to transport construction materials / wastes by boat through Huangpu River than transporting it by truck on road? Those stupid boats from the 90's makes the picture so ugly..

yes it's ugly and but consistent with Ping'an 's Pudong compus style (luxury but tacky imo)

This is the pic I took in March in Ping'an when working on a project with them
