Incredible! Aussies really know how to sculpture amazing skylines!
Whoever gives this city lower than a 8/10 is straight up trolling. 10/10 |

I can't wait to visit the Gold Coast this summer. It looks so exciting and fun. Beautiful skyline.

Nice pictures! Are these condo buildings or apartments? Remarkably like many in Canada.

Australia does seem to have it all. Would love to visit it someday!

I'm sure they are, but these are the kind of uglies we tend to build. Plenty of exposed concrete, if you're lucky they'll paint it.... or leave it white. The majority were built in the 70s and 80s - hence hehe

No, condos and apartments are not the same thing. Condos units are owned, and apartment units are rented.
They aren't that ugly.. standard 70's-80's looking, but I wouldn't say ugly at all. They aren't gimmicky looking so will probably still look decent 30 years from now.

I guess they aren't 'ugly', they're just lacking in architectural merit. I'm just glad that residential architecture in this city now sets the standards for the country with buildings such as Soul, Circle on Cavill, Q1, Hilton and Oracle. |
