Project facts:

Europaallee is a redevelopment of a former railway yard as well as the area used by the post. Many of the areas buildings have been completed with a couple still under construction. There's also a new entrance being build for the access to the main station platform.

The former Surber Metallbau AG redeveloped its area into a mainly residential area. The area lies in the trendy District 4 neighborhood and all apartments are already rented out.

The developer plans to build 80 new apartments in the courtyard as well as a prominent new building on the edge of the area. There are also two existing houses which will be refurbished.

Project facts:

* Area: 55,300m2

* Apartment No.: 490

* Investment volume: 310 million CHF

Circa 15km outside the center of Zurich lies the former industrial area which ceased production in 2002. The area lies right next to the train station and is within easy reach of Zurich. The new development focuses mainly on residential apartments with a smaller number of offices. The official start of the second stage of the area was on Monday. Finishing date should be in the year 2019.

HB Nord | Zurich

Project facts:

* 139 Apartments
* 9000m2 Offices
* 2000m2 Retail

The former construction side for the new train tunnel under the main station is being redeveloped into a very centrally located area with offices and apartments. The whole development should be finished in 2019. Along a 600m stretch between the main station and the popular Langstrasse district develops SBB numerous buildings.

To the northern of the city near Oerlikon station lies this new development. Along many other projects in the neighborhood this new project will bring many new inhabitants to this area.

There is a good amount of towers under construction. Hope the pace in the coming years will keep up. Even better would be if they plan two 150+ meters towers to give the skyline a less even look

Entrance Europaplatz to main station | Zurich

Connection for a new city center: officials from SBB, ZVV and the city of Zurich have opened a new access from the Europaallee to the main station.
With 34 meters it is the widest access to the HB (main station).
The costs for the new access and completion of the Sihlquai passage amount to around 24 million Swiss francs.

Sport Center Heuried | Zurich

* Cost: 81 Million CHF
* Voters approved of the project in 2014

On Saturday 30.09.17 the new sport centre opens to the public. After 2 years of construction and redevelopment of the old complex, a new ice skating hall and renovated swimming pools open. The former 1964 building didn't cater to today's need and therefore needed a total overhaul and reconstruction.

The ice sports associations are able to train on the ice rink no matter the season. In addition to the wardrobes, there is also a gym, a restaurant and operating rooms.

Additionally there is photovoltaic that powers up to 1/4 of the energy needs.

The new sports center reaches the highest energy standard for ice rinks. The waste heat from the refrigeration machines for ice production is to be used for the heating of the sports center and the community center.
