MISC | Largest collection of stored locomotives in a single location

I was wondering, what is the largest number of stored locomotives that can be found in a single location in the world.

The largest number of stored locos in the UK can be found at Toton TMD near Nottingham. You can see a large number of Class 60 diesel electrics that haven't turned a wheel in years.

Meanwhile in France, Rouen has a large number of stored locos.

I'm wondering about the rest of the world, and what the record number is.

In The Netherlands we don't really have those big yards but if I have to guess Dijksgracht Amsterdam is probably the biggest yard with stored rolling stock to be scraped.

Thanks for your response. The record I have for Germany so far is mukran yard, your recommendation will remain the record for the Netherlands unless a larger collection of locos is put forward.

Near where I live there is a dismal 'museum' collection silently rusting away away from public view. For over 20 years, a collection has been amassed and constantly expanded upon in Dorrigo, NSW, Australia. A promised museum has never been built despite constant promises. The group behind this collection has become embroiled in constant infighting and bickering, broken into factions and seen rival groups set up in opposition. In the meantime, they continue to fundraise, while the collection continues to grow, where they will sit and rust or be subjected to vandalism.

Nice pics, but that's a pity. Let's hope the stock has a decent future.
