That sculptural joiner is intriguing. Initially I assumed it would be the default material, glass. Those renderings suggest a textured material. Metal?

Apparently it's metal wrapped around the elevator shaft. The material they use though, can really make or break this one.

That it's metal is piquing my interest further. As per usual it will come down to the quality of materials and attention to details. It's a very recent proposal so lots up in the air at this point.
