Abu Dhabi has the largest skyline in the middle east. Definitely more to see than what you just mentioned!

Looks impressive, but why is everything being built on an 'island' ?

Is Abu Dhabi short of land ?

No, Abu Dhabi has a lot of land. I think putting it in the sea is part of it being attractive, a ferris wheel in the sea sounds cool. You should get nice views of the skyline and surrounding areas.

If I knew nothing about London, I could have said the same for the London Eye.

Fortunatelly for me I know about London, unfortunatelly for you, you don't know ... nothing about Abu Dhabi, so the difference is right there.

All this is all very well but will they ever have the worlds biggest banana......it's somewhere north on the Australian coast. OK I know now next week we will hear they will build a bigger one.......shucks! Being serious it is good to see someone out there is pushing the boundaries as mankind has done since the start of time and is way better than trying to wipe eachother out!

Postuh....To you this is biizar???OK I have to say it is the night before Easter and I have had a few VB's.....Beers. But The truth is it is great that the world meets on this medium....I am relaxing after work and how can anyone know where I am at......I live in a good city and live my life and enjoy all this. Dubia is so dynamic........the world depends on petrolium..fuel???? and lots of it is under sands in the middle east. Forget politics we all live on this planet with children and granchildren and just want to live our lives as happy as we we can but politics and religion seem to stuff it all up.This is not for this but in the end what is there. Dubai is a dynamic place building advanced technology and pushing boundaries in size and height .....money can do this but if in peace we can push boundaries why complain. Just enjoy!.........I also know that drinking is not a thing for some cultures but it makes me say what is and in the end that is all!

Cool! The UAE is becoming a real life Disneyland. So many new weird buildings, it makes me dizzy. When this is all finished i would visit it once.

What im trying to say is, World Famous landmarks are pretty much limited in Abu-Dhabi. The only thing being offered is a view over a skyscraper jungle and water.

The London eye only works because of the status of buildings around it. This is what people pay to see.

^You idiot. Abu-Dhabi is not jungle and water.

It has a huge skyline to look at.
