I never used USTRA transports, but in "seventies" Hannover was for me a perfect example of good transportation, in comparizon with Lyon were I live.(it's better now)

That's what I wrote before and some others, too. Hannover has not the most beautiful stations, some can even be called ugly. But nevertheless, the stations are not that dirty and the system is pretty good.

I have been to Hannover several times and the system is very interesting. Some of the trams and buses have unique designs not seen elsewhere.

Are any of the TW 6000 trams still running? And what has replaced the ones that have been withdrawn up to now?

HANNOVER transport authority Üstra has exercised an option for 46 additional TW 3000 LRVs from a consortium of Kiepe Electric and Alstom

In 2011 Üstra placed an initial €126m order for 50 of the high-floor bi-directional vehicles with two options for a total of 96 additional units. The first option for 50 vehicles was exercised in November 2013

earlier this month, the surface tram between Hauptbahnhof and Aegidientorplatz was discontinued, and now all "10" and "17" trams terminate at Hauptbahnhof.
