I actually quite like Chongqing which reminds me of my most fav. city, Portland.

My personal list

1.Dubai
2.Shanghai
3.Hongkong
4.Guangzhou
5.Kuala Lumpur
6.Shenzhen
7.Doha
8.Nanjing
9.kuwait city
10.Busan

These cities have the height(over 300m), quality and distinctiveness.

Indian cities(such as Mumbai), vietnam cities have really big potential for the future skyline with huge supertalls in near future.

i'm making my list with their respective scores based on the list i did for my personal top 10 skylines...

I already have 5 Chinese cities in my Asian top 10. I do agree with your summation and find Shenzhen the least interesting of the ones I mentioned. Chongqing and Guangzhou are more impressive, but seem to fly under our radar here in the West.

Hello! i am a new user here..It's great to find out that asia conquer the world when it comes to skyline...........because i am a FILIPINO, i would like to paste a website so that you may able to see how metro manila ,philippines changes it's looks.It's not the best but it deserve to be one of the top 20 best skyline in the world.

china has a lot of impressive "skyscrapercities"... that's a fact... thing is, they're not that well heard-of (yet) by most people anywhere else...
