They're digging up that park around Petronas for skyscrapers?

To be fair, a lot of the cities so far have been pretty lackluster in skyline terms, Mumbai, Jarkata - ?

HK and Singapore is still where it's at.

No, not the park
The park located behind KLCC
The upcoming towers are build next to KLCC

Jakarta has an impressive skyline and there are new projects coming along.

As for those supertalls built next to Petronas. I prefer having them shorter. It kinda distorts the Petronas kinda like what Cheung Kong did to the BoC

Actually, Seoul, Shanghai, and Tokyo have a much larger and fuller skyline than Hong Kong. There is a much bigger mass of buildings in each of those cities.

Skyline is about how buildings are arranged. Tokyo does have a lot of skyscrapers clustered in certain areas. The urban landscape is far bigger than the skyscraper districts alone, and stretches all around the bay.

Doesn't matter. Lower and Midtown Manhattan are several km apart but still forms a nice skyline.
