The so-called observation wheel is expected to have views of the Statue of Liberty, New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline.
It's expected to...? Unless Cloverfield happens or what? Of course it will have views of the Statue of Liberty, New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline.

I just think the statues on the Grand Cascade of Peterhof Palace, don't have the best proportions, or maybe I have that impression because they are made from some golden like material, well it's certainly not Versailles.
But it's okay this is only my opinion. I apologize for the off topic.

The skyline view one gets from Staten Island is really great. The idea of this observation wheel is appealing, but do you guys think that with the distance to Manhattan, the almost 200 meter elevation will make any significant difference from what will be seen? I would hope so, but I'm not quiet sure.

This seems to be quite far from Manhattan to get a good shot specially for those without high definiton cameras... and I wonder if it would sell to tourists with more water view than the skyline... but well I guess we'll see when its done...

I'd prefer Brooklyn Bridge Park.
