I don't know. Perhaps the Canadian flag in the background and the model of Trump Toronto might provide of some hints.

Trump was at Toronto two days ago during Global's unveiling of their 2005-06 television season. Trump was promoting the Apprentice.

Probably not. Not enough 'luxury' market for his grand complexes.

You never know. But in addition to the Trump Toronto, Ritz Carlton will be putting up a substantial hotel-condominium within a few years.

Here are some construction updates from Delirium @ SSP.

18 Yonge / Pinnacle Centre

Cityplace

Canada Life Building

Opera House

lol. Are you the new SPiRE or the old SPiRE? If you're the new one, you seem to know so much about Toronto already.

I already knew about the Saphire Tower... I think many people do. That Trump guy has something to do with it, no?

Thank you for bringing this Thread back Skybeam...I was kinda getting to miss it!
Anyways, I don't think you can say that Sapphire is a typical condo. It's very unique for a condo. And something completely new to Toronto.

Nevertheless, I'm still debating whether I like this or the previous version...I think this one will rub off on me soon enough.

How tall is the shorter part going to be?
Great rendering by the way cassius

"How tall is the shorter part going to be?"

I guess you didn't see "Top of rectangular part (53rd floor) 173.75m" posted by Skybean?

I actually don't mind the stepped rectangular part over which everyone is so up in arms. I don't care for the garish colour, the globe, the spire, and I'm not too partial to cylindrical buildings. I hope Harry can get it up.
