wow these are beautiful. like two roses. Twin towers, but not exactly the same with a bit different top, exactly like flowers that aren't exactly the same either. i really hope they stay with the design. the location looks rather lowrise though, where is the next skyscraper?

Good yes but they aint beating the Petronas Towers, They are a masterpiece of engineering and Architecture that is very much related to the culture and ancient building styles of Malaysia.

and they where very close to being the tallest in The world at at the time of their completion

i kinda like how one of these towers looks like an open petal and the other as a closed one on top

Does any one know the location for this project? When I get it right it should be around the intersection of Nanhai Ave./Chuangye Rd.

I didnt have the exact number of proposed supertalls here but I think at least we have 30 proposed and 10 supertalls under construction in shenzhen. So I wanted to ask you: what's ur bet, how much of them will be built ?

Wow that's crazy. But I don't think that every of this supertalls gets built . If every of this would get built, approximately every second building in the top 20 highest buildings or sth. Like that would be a skyscraper in Shenzhen! So I am a bit confusedof this fact . We already saw that there are much realistic proposals because of the number of supertalls in the construction forum. But approximately how much of the proposed ones relay gets built ? Only guess (i know you too can't know it because if you could see the future) or a better question in this topic : how much supertalls do you think are completed in 6 years or so in Shenzhen ?

I'm currently compiling a full list of >200m projects in Shenzhen. Keep on mind that there're several supertalls that have been announced, we just don't have threads for them because there's still too little info about them. Including 3 >400m+ projects.

Also the list of vague 200m+ proposals is endless, there're tens of them. Actually in the past months we've seen how several vague 200m+ proposals evolved to become supertall projects. Everything is possible in the coming years, Shenzhen has the will (global city wannabe), the cash (China's richest city) and the need (land shortage) to become a supertall city.

well for sure it will be at least 10, if only the ones we have now and are U/C get completed we are there already. If Qianhai is developping quickly it will contribute a few more aswell, so it is not unlikely that we see 15 or more supertalls in Shenzhen by 2019. Shenzhen is currently the only city with a realistic chance of beating Dubai's suptertall count. Yet let us not forget that Chongqing also was a candidate to beat all other cities, yet most of the buildings got delayed and the chongqing dream ended with a growth like other chinese cities and not the anticipated boom. I know that Shenzhen has different reasons and opportunities to boom, but i still would be careful. Especially the big areas like Qianhai may require a long time before any super and megatalls will rise, maybe only after infrastructure and phases of residential areas. I think Shenzhen will have a steady growth for years to come and i do hope that we will always have at least 10 supertalls simultaniously under construction for a few years now, but really noone can really know what the city will bring us. The boom might close with Ping'an for now or it gets even crazier. Everything is possible, especially looking at all these ambitious plans

I am a optimist and I think that much of the supertall buildings will be built soon. But I have one last question are there any threat where this discussun and general questions about shenzhen fits in? Or should I use the photografy threat ?
