Absolutely fabulous! Germany is paying 20 billion Euro every year to Bruxelles. Within the the time the reunification, with that amount of money, Berlin could have been completely restored like several times. Instead, we are getting even poorer.

Simple problems, simple solutions - kind of a communist/Nazi way of solving national issues.

Truth is always simple. It's either true or false.

Wrong. Black and white are the colors of the simple-minded, there's a million shades of grey in between.

Berlin looked great back then.....
Still looks great, but for example, I think the Potsdamer Platz looked much better back then. Not that the square looks bad today with the modern architecture, but still......

Berlin, ich liebe dich

Agreed. Potsdammer Platz feels very sterile; lacks articulation? Leipziger Platz is especially monotonous, sadly, i was hoping that the Wertheim site would have offered a little diversity. Alas, sigh... Still...i love Berlin and the reconstruction is amazing.

Well said...Progressives see the world in color. Conservatives see it in black and white.

Danzig was a beautiful German city that day, he said nothing false, nothing Nazi.
Stop reacting like that. If you have nothing useful to add here, then censor yourself!

And please stop with the stupid Nazi/Hitler stuff.
