I have now re-organised and re-edited my previous Istanbul photo collection and am posting them in this newly created Istanbul thread.
I loved Istanbul, having wanted to visit for many years, and having been inspired by Orhan Pamuk’s beautifully, poetic memoir ‘Istanbul: Memories and the City’. I could easily imagine myself living there for a year or two, and certainly hope to return one day.
Do I see right, Jane - there is a man who sells food for feeding pigeons?! :lol:
Happy Turks - here in Vienna we are punished when caught at feeding pigeons.
