This tower reminds me of american skyscrapers - simple and beautiful at the same time. And this viewing terrace on the top floor - top notch!

Come on HB Reavis and make Warsaw skyline great

Hard to go wrong with Foster and I think this has a classy look to it that is fitting to a European skyline - refined and elegant.

Hopefully the start of more taller towers in Warsaw!

Very handsome tower. Elegant and with a strong vertical emphasis in all its details. Will look great on the Warsaw skyline.

It may have something to do with the railroad tunnel, which is located there.

More so with signature incompetency & impotency of Polish National Railways which seems incapable of preparing developement above the tunnel despite technology existing for well over a hundred years now

Just becouse for you its a symbol of Warsaw doesn't mean that everybody is sharing your opinion or that it's some kind of obligatory point of view. Having a "Joseph Stalin Palace of Culture and Science" ( yes, thats a full name of it still engraved above the entrance. Would anybody like to have for example 'Adolf Hitler tower' to be the symbol of their city..?) with its enormous base creating undeveloped desert, blocking natural communication arteries etc for the last 60 years is not making it any better. Warsaw have many other true symbols and Im glad that Varso have such a great design that will enable it to be a centerpiece of Warsaw skyline. Sign of a new times.

Foster + Partners-Designed Supertall Varso Tower to be Poland's Tallest
Quote:
At 310 metres, the 53-storey Foster + Partners-designed supertall Varso Tower is set to become Poland's tallest structure, edging out the 1955-built 237-metre Palace of Culture and Science for the honour. The new development will occupy a longstanding brownfield site at the centre of Warsaw, on a plot adjacent to the Central Train Station. Set for completion in 2020, Varso Tower will bring 140,000 square metres (1,500,000 square feet) of modern office space to the core. Warsaw has become a European tech hub in recent years, having attracted Google and other high-profile tech giants.
