Great work Bubach! I like the first banner but its a pity the top of the pavilion cant fit. Other than that I like No2.

yes, thanks mic of Orion, I think you have the right person in mind. I believe he was the Croatian ambassador to the UAE for some time.
But I won't hijack this thread any further with my personal querying.

I will look forward to visiting Zagreb, Split and Korsula in July. I spent the first few years of my life in these areas and look forward to going back.

you know what would be interesting to ce, Busin or Buzin (not sure) area of Zagreb and New American Embassy if it is complete ? I know it is monstrosity and looks strange - but haven't seen it complete it would be nice to ce the project.

This tiny street is Skalinska before reconstruction, connects Dolac (open market) and Tkalciceva. I dont have a clue where to fit this part of Zagreb cuz it connects upper town with lower town, hmm middle town?

Mike, Buzin is not business center, but business area with a lot of buildings, so it is not completed and it will never be, but it grows all the time… New business buildings are everywhere, I heard that even Croatia Airlines moved from Zagrepčanka to one new building in Buzin…
Construction of new University Hospital in Blato, New Zagreb, should continue, but Government and City Council still didn't reach agreement about financing… They need cca 300 million € to finnish that building. I hope I will have some time to go there and take pics of that construction. Construction od that building started in 1980-s, 45 % of works was done, and during the war there wasn't money to complete it, so they stoped. Now building is being used as depot for cultural institutions...

I found interesting site about HNK in Zagreb (settled in lower town). This was actualy original project for HNK building which supposed to be built in Ilica street:
