First, Zagreb is absolutly beautiful!!! I love the city, and everything about it

Second... Zagreb, Croatia is in Eastern Europe.. It always has been.. why should you be embarassed about that...Yugo's are cool haha!

Always? I don't think so, only from 1918 - 1990.

I mean, it is obvious that Croatia is not Western Europe, but I am sure we are not Eastern Europe too – just look at the map of Europe and you will see what I am talking about. Geographicaly and culturaly we are somewhere between Central (Zagreb, Varaždin, Karlovac), Southern (Split, Dubrovnik) and Eastern Europe (Osijek).

@Astroboy, you are right about Yugo, I think there is no more than 2-3 % of Yugos on Croatian street, that cheap crappy car was completly pushed out by Hyundai.

I seen few Yugos in London, they are sh**y cars they are very crap, you look at one on streets of London . ppl laugh at it, ppl prefer to walk than drive or be driven in Yugo.

Lada is the other car ppl make huge, I think in entire Croatia there could be no more than 2000 Yugos still going, when I was in Zagreb (way back in 2000) I didn't ce any Yugos on streets. But I heard there was guy trying to open dealership for Yugos in Zagreb, lol, I don't know what happened to him, but I am of opinion he didn't do well, considering how much Croats like Yugo cars and all it represents.

I am sure by the end of this decade there will be no Yugos left in Croatia.
I think Skoda's and Hyundai's have replaced in some extant cheep car market and Volkswagen small car market with Ford, Fiat, Renault holding 2nd. 3rd. and 4th. place.

If I was in government I would enact rule - no personal cars older than 15 years allowed on streets of Croatia, making all present Yugos obsolete and scraped by strict legislation on traffic safety.

LOL, I think the idiot actually opened up a "Yugo" dealership because I remember seeing "1" Yugo sold in Croatia in 2003 new car purchases. Hes probably closed shop these days. I dont think may people are keen on these ugly deathtraps ......

Yugo PLJUGO lol has no future in Croatia anymore. The only people still driving it are students who cant afford anything better than this ugly box! Last year i also saw one 'Stojadin' parked somewhere in Novi Zagreb, I wonder if it belongs to Long Foot

It's an easy thing to fulfill my request. All you need to do is to go to Kaptol and be armed with camera and brave heart, not fear the height

Seriously, i have no special requests, it's all up to you, take photos of whatever you find interesting or nice to your eye. If you happen to be in centre-downtown area, as you know there's plenty of old buildings that none of us represented here yet (maybe Petrinjska, Gunduliceva, church in Palmoticeva street, Barun Trenk and Pavao Hatz street, etc - I dont know, depends on where you headed). Also, the idea of posting fresh Eurotower's pics sounds good to me, and SinCity might like it as well
