I think it was designed by the same architects (Helmer & Fellner) that built theatres in Bratislava (Slovakia), Rijeka (Croatia) and also the one above in Krakow (Poland). All of these theatres are magnificent and look almost identical.

I guess thats the legacy of our Central European history.

Thats just plain ridiculous. There needs to be a change in the manner to which Zagreb City Council is administered. While they have quite a huge budget, it seems to me like they squander a lot of funds on useless activities, such as painting the same buildings over and over again .....

By the second photography i should've wrote LEFT instead of RIGHT building. While writting this in my previous post, I must've had some kind of anger in my head and pararely being focused on expressing anger at the right (gray-brown) building in LF's photo

They only changed the roof on this building, they didn't do anything with facade

^ Ohh i see But to tell you the truth, the facade on it didnt look bad to me at all. I also wondered if they did some gardening around the bulding, cuz i remember it looked very messy.
The very first thing i would do to make this park look nicer is a quick replacement of street lamps. I would install those fancy looking lamps like on upper town, they would add more romantic and elegant feeling to this side of the park

Damn, i dont understand 98 % of Croatian language ... DO you have the same with Polish ? I hope that speak Croatian will be for me more understandable :P

This new host that i found a couple weeks ago provides unmetered bandwidth, mysql base and PHP4 or everything that i need. But still i dont feel comfortable enough giving my new website address to some people here...because they are even capable of exceeding unlimited bandwidth hehe

If I read Polish, I can get some jist of it, but I cannot understand most of it when its spoken. I can sometimes say the same for Slovenian too and other Slavic languages.

Surprisingly i cannot understand Polish, while Slovak and Czech language are not that hard to understand. I used to meet many Slovaks and Czechs on Croatian coast, and I would have quite fluent conversations with them, seriously. Also for some reason, they seem to understand Croatian better than we can understand their languages
