A BRT system is under construction in Feira de Santana, but there are a serious problems in this projects. The system doesn't benefits people who really use buses. It is located in the main avenue of the city, but isn't focused in transport a huge number of users... just in increase house selling in the region

this subway system would be the better thing to the city, but it is really utopic. I think that to change our public transport problems the government should let many companies compete for the transport, this way the companies would have to offer the best to the population. The nowadays system just allows 1 or 2 companies choosen by the government to do the transport, the only competition is ilegal, bringing much risk to those who use, and probably kicking out the concorrency by strenght.
